A talk from Dave Weston, who served for 30 years with Northamptonshire police. During that time, Dave worked in both uniform and detective roles and is planning to include a few anecdotes and humorous stories. He will also chat about a few 'specialisms' without (of course) giving away too many trade secrets. Dave also served for a year in Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the United Nations Policing Mission to help them build their police force after the Balkans war. He retired in 2018 after spending time working in the Home Office and the college of policing.
No charge for members. £3 for visitors including refreshments.
