The club has been in existence since 2010, playing social/friendly limited overs cricket on Sunday afternoons with the occasional midweek evening match (20/20 overs). Players are largely drawn from Litchborough, Farthingstone, Stowe and several other villages in the Towcester/Daventry area.
The club play 14-16 matches a season against other local village clubs eg Eyedon, Greens Norton, Blakesley, Everdon as well as some clubs from Northampton eg Hardingstone.
Originally called the Nomads (because they had no “home” ground) all matches after the club’s formation were away. Preston Capes CC then kindly allowed the club to use their ground on Sundays and when Preston CC sadly folded two years ago, the Nomads took over the ground to play their home matches. Starting this season Nomads now play at Badby cricket ground.
